A native of North Wales Mair has over 30 YEARS experience of working with CHILDREN and YOUNGSTERS having taught for many years in LONDON SCHOOLS

Her career began at the ROYAL COLLEGE OF MUSIC and OPERA SCHOOL London where she gained her ARCM Diploma in PERFORMING /TEACHING and ARTIST DIPLOMA IN OPERA.  During her studies at the R.C.M she sang the leading role in 'Ahmal and the Night Visitors' in the presence of the composer GIAN CARLO MENOTTI  the QUEEN and the late QUEEN MOTHER. . While at the R.C.M. Mair was awarded the DOROTHY SILK  CLARA BUTT and LONDON SOCIETY PRIZES.

This followed with an award of a TWO year ITALIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP to study with the late International Baritone PAOLO SILVERI at the CONSERVATORIO DI MUSICA ST.CECILIA ROME where she gained her DIP MUS. in OPERA AND DRAMA.  She is fluent in ITALIAN as well as her native WELSH.

Mair was also the founder and CONDUCTOR of the London based GRIFFIN MALE VOICE CHOIR for several years.

She recently featured in the popular Welsh S4C Programme CWPWRDD DILLAD/      MY WARDROBE www.s4c.co.uk/cwpwrdddillad. She was also a member of the ADJUDICATING PANEL at the prestigious ANDREW O'NEILL CABARET AWARDS and the Welsh Can You Sing Competition.

Mair has also been involved as MUSIC DIRECTOR with various LONDON CHARITY EVENTS working alongside SHOWBUSINESS CELEBS : MICHELLE COLLINS (Cindy Beale Eastenders ) JULIAN FELLOWS (Kilwillie Monarch of the Glen) and Celebrity Chef BRIAN TURNER CBE raising money for Maggie's London Cancer Centre and The ANTHONY NOLAN TRUST.

At the invitation of MAESTRO LUIGI PETROZZIELLO she is often asked to listen to aspiring young OPERATIC SINGERS at the Conservatorio di Musica S. Cecilia ROME. PRIMADONNA represents a number of these young singers.

Following PRIMADONNA'S success in placing children in top WEST END MUSICALS   EVITA   SOUND OF MUSIC  LES MISERABLES  WIZARD OF OZ  OLIVER and CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG UK TOUR.  Mair will  again be holding AUDITIONS throughout the UK during 2010/2011 searching for new TALENT to represent and put forward for auditions.

Mair continues to run an extensive PRIVATE TEACHING practice at her London 'STUDIO' and at a West London Preparatory School.  A number of her students past and present have sung in WEST END ROLES.  Later this year she has been invited to participate at the LONDON only event of CONTEMPORARY VOICE WORKSHOP organised by LONDON COLLEGE OF MUSIC featuring Guest Singers from WICKED and the TV programme DOROTHY . She is available for VOCAL/AUDITION WORKSHOPS and VOCAL CONSULTANCY. Also during 2010 a number of students have been travelling from WALES for coaching lessons with PRIMADONNA to prepare for auditions for LONDON MUSIC COLLEGES.  TWO students have been awarded SINGING SCHOLARSHIPS to further their singing career.

Mair is also the ARTISTIC DIRECTOR of London based PRIMADONNAMUSIC ARTIST MANAGEMENT who represent talented young SINGERS and ACTORS.
